Completely Revolutionizing the Planet Earth

In the ancient Vedic wisdom, especially the Bhagavad-gita and the Srimad Bhagavatam, we have the seeds for bringing about the complete respiritualization of planet earth. This is not at all astonishing or extraordinary because these texts of revealed spiritual knowledge come to from a previous time when the entire earth planet lived in peace and harmony as one nation. Nothing new has to be invented. All we have to do is learn from the lessons of the past when the earth was like a paradise compared to what it is now.

Therefore there is nothing more important that the wide scale reading of the Bhagavad-gita and the Srimad Bhagavatam. Such reading must be from editions that do not obscure the meaning with personally motivated interpretations. We must read from editions of these great books that simply present them as they are without any interpretation.

Such pure editions are available by the mercy of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, my beloved spiritual master. If you have not already read these books, kindly do so as soon as possible. And then tell everyone you know about them, and ask them to tell everyone that they know about them. In this way, let's make a revolution to transform this insane world into a spiritual paradise.

I was just wondering what is the meaning of your name "Sankarshan". Please enlighten. Also please tell me in which country/temple are you based?

Answer: One Who Attracts All Living Entities...

It is a fact that when we approach the spiritual master we are especially meant to inquire about how to advance ourselves in Krishna consciousness, rather than personal questions. But since you have inquired I will try to answer to your full satisfaction.

Sankarshan means one who attracts all living entities. This of course refers to the Supreme Lord. My spiritual master, Srila Prabhupada, has given me the name Sankarshan Das, which means the servant of Sankarshan. Even though I am the mere servant of Sankarshan I am praying for His blessings that I can attract all living entities to Him.

Of course they are already attracted to Him. But in this material world they are attracted to His illusory energy rather than to Him directly. Just as a hungry man cannot be satisfied by trying to eat the reflection of food, no one in this material world can be satisfied, no matter how hard they try to enjoy the Lord's illusory energy. Therefore my prayer is that I can attract them directly to the Lord away from His illusory energy. The illusory energy is especially manifested in the forms of illicit sex, meat eating, intoxication, and gambling. The Lord Himself is manifested in the form of His holy names:

Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare
Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me.
