Malaysian Devotees Attain Deathlessness

On 19 June 2011 in an initiation ceremony in Klang Malaysia I accepted four new disciples: Dayal Nitai das, Amala-Bhakta das, Parvati devi das, and Mitravinda devi dasi. The moment of initiation is the most auspicious moment in the history of the conditioned soul in his endless sojourn in this material existence, because it is at the moment of initiation that he leaves behind his so-called material identity and fully enters into his factual identity as the eternal servant of Krishna. If the new initiate remains faithful to the vows accepted at the time of initiation to chant at least 16 rounds daily of the Hare Krishna mahamantra on japa mala beads and to strictly avoid illicit sex, meat eating, intoxication, and gambling, then from the very moment of initiation his or her eternal deathlessness has begun.

Dear Gurudeva,

I am Dipesh, 10 years old. I wake up every day at 4am and chant the mahamantra mantra 16 rounds before going to school at 7am. I read the Bhagavad-gita. I go to the ISKCON temple every Sunday. I take prasadam and follow the rules ISKCON for making spiritual advancement.

I heard that Krishna is the creator of the creator. For example, if someone creates something, then Krishna is the one who created that thing because He created that person. But who created Krishna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead?

Answer: Krishna

Since Krishna is the original creator, He has no creator other than Himself. This is why it can be said that Krishna is the creator of Krishna. He is known as the Cause of all Causes. Everyone else requires a creator to exist, but Krishna exists without being created by anyone else. He exists simply because He desires to exist.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. But at least may it suffice for me to say for now that Gayatri taught me what it means to be a soft-hearted devotee of the Lord and she gave me my first cooking lesson, teaching me how to make cauliflower pakoras, and Amarendra taught me the art of how to preach strongly, intelligently, and coolly to defeat opposing arguments. Krishna is not a myth, nor is He an ordinary historical personality. He is the Supreme All-Attractive Personality of Godhead. He is the oldest of all while simultaneously maintaining the form of a 16 year old youth.
