Why live miserably and ignorantly in temporality when you can live wisely and blissfully in immortality? In other words, why suffer in this material world, where ignorance is so-called bliss, when you can enjoy unlimitedly in the most sublime eternal realm of Krishna consciousness at every minute? The choice is yours. You can do what you want. But as you sow, so shall reap. You are going to get what you put your energy into. If you channel your energy only into your body, you are going to end up with a blank check at the time of death. But if you will instead wisely invest your energy in the revival of your immortal identity, you will victoriously conquer over the material nature and attain the intimate personal association of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Lord Sri Krishna, in His eternal pastimes. So now do what you want.

Please explain to me the rasa-lila. Someone asked me why Sri Krishna had so many women devotees surrounding Him.

Editor's note: Rasa-lila is Krishna's most famous pastime of dancing all night in the Vrindavan forest with thousands of beautiful young cowherd girls.

Answer: Because He is Super-Attractive

If a man is super-attractive, he will naturally attract many women. Therefore since Krishna is the Supreme All-Attractive Personality of Godhead it is natural that he will attract and be surrounded by so many women. In the recent history we see that the Beatles rock band attracted so many young girls that the term Beatlemania was coined. But since Krishna is unlimitedly more attractive that than the Beatles we can understand that the Beatlemania of this world is an insignificant drop of water compared the Krishnamania ocean going on eternally in the wondrous spiritual sky.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. But at least may it suffice for me to say for now that Gayatri taught me what it means to be a soft-hearted devotee of the Lord and she gave me my first cooking lesson, teaching me how to make cauliflower pakoras, and Amarendra taught me the art of how to preach strongly, intelligently, and coolly to defeat opposing arguments. Krishna is not a myth, nor is He an ordinary historical personality. He is the Supreme All-Attractive Personality of Godhead. He is the oldest of all while simultaneously maintaining the form of a 16 year old youth.
