Beyond the Nightmare

This material existence is a nightmare because everyone is being dragged to the slaughterhouse of death by the stringent wheel of time. In spite of all of our technological advancement the death rate is still 100%. The way out of the nightmare is to wake up and realize that you are not that body, that you are an eternal spirit-soul qualitatively one with the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Lord Sri Krishna. In this way by realizing that you are God's eternal servant and fully absorbing yourself in His service under the guidance of the bona fide spiritual master, you will completely throw off the nightmarish shackles of death by reawakening your eternal deathless nature.

Question: Why Did Krishna Choose Vishnu?

I may kindly take a moment of your time, I humbly submit the following questions.

1) Why did Krishna choose Vishnu out of the Hindu trinity for His incarnations as opposed to Shiva or Brahma?

2) I don't understand Radha. What does she represent? Was she real as Krishna?

Answer: He is Vishnu.

Why does the owner of the company do some of the work of the company himself? Vishnu is Krishna Himself. It is not a matter of choosing Vishnu because He is Vishnu. The Supreme Lord in His intimate pastimes at home is called Krishna. And when He does the official office work of maintaining the material existence He is known as Vishnu.

Srimati Radharani is the pleasure potency of Krishna. When Krishna wants to enjoy He manifests Radharani from Himself for the purpose of enjoying a loving relationship with her. She is definitely as real as Krishna.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. But at least may it suffice for me to say for now that Gayatri taught me what it means to be a soft-hearted devotee of the Lord and she gave me my first cooking lesson, teaching me how to make cauliflower pakoras, and Amarendra taught me the art of how to preach strongly, intelligently, and coolly to defeat opposing arguments. Who is this Krishna?

Krishna is not a myth, nor is He an ordinary historical personality. He is the Supreme All-Attractive Personality of Godhead. He is the oldest of all while simultaneously maintaining the form of a 16 year old youth.
