When Bewildered Beg for Krishna's Protection

Things don't always go nicely in this material world. Sometimes we experience very bewildering and even devastating situations. Such times, although apparently unwelcome at first, are actually the greatest blessing because they give us the best opportunity to feelingly call out to the Lord for His shelter and protection, which is, in the final analysis, our only safe position in this world, where there is danger at every step.

Answers According to the Vedic Version:

Question: Is This True?

Is this true?

“You have to grow from the inside out. None can teach you. None can make you spiritual. There is no other teacher but your own soul."

K.N.

Answer: It is Patently Bogus

This statement is patently bogus because it cancels itself out. The person who makes this statement is taking the position of being our teacher by teaching us that there is no teacher other than our own soul. In other words, he is stating that, according to his philosophy, he is not our teacher. In spite of this, he still attempts to teach us something. Therefore he is a hypocrite, and his statement is completely nonsensical and self-contradictory. Anyone who falls for his statement taking it as profound wisdom is a naïve simpleton with no philosophical intelligence.

The real fact is that just as a car with a dead battery requires a jump start, the conditioned soul requires a jump start from a liberated soul in order to come out of his conditioned state into the liberated state It is emphatically stated throughout the Vedic literatures that we require to take shelter of bona fide spiritual master if we want to realize the highest truth.
